Andree Zaimović, Vesna earned BA and MA in Musicology from Music Academy of Sarajevo University. She has more than 30 years long career in media, working as reporter, TV host, music editor to highest management and editor positions. As the Head of BH Radio 1 Music Program, she led the Bosnian-Herzegovinian team taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest (Istanbul 2004 and Kiev 2005). Since 2008, Andree Zaimović has been the co-editor and project manager of Radiosarajevo. ba, one of the most visited news portals in the country. As musicologist, she has presented at international conferences (Belfast, Oslo, Ljubljana, Sarajevo), and has published a dozen academic papers, including an entries Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sarajevo in Continuum Encyclopedia of Popular Music of the World (Volume 2, 2005). She is one of the authors in Made in Yugoslavia: Studies in Popular Music (Routledge, 2020).
